Meanwhile, Co-founder Taylor Kephart is a cocktail wizard turned health aficionado, with years of experience crafting Instagram-worthy drinks and unforgettable moments. Together, they’ve shaken up the game (literally) to bring the magic of Kava to your glass.
The Spark That Started It All
The idea for lomi? A serendipitous detour. Midori stumbled upon a quirky little bar in Florida that didn’t serve wine, beer, or booze—but instead, Kava. (Spoiler: It’s not Spanish bubbly, though we love that too.) This South Pacific root has been the go-to mood-lifter for over 3,000 years, traditionally sipped from coconut shells. One sip, and she was hooked—not just on the taste but on the calm, content, “I’ve-got-this” vibes that came with it.
